As Vice President and General Manager, Brent McCarty is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of Ingram Micro’s Consumer Electronics Division formally DBL. In his role, McCarty oversees the development, maintenance and improvement of sales, purchasing, finance, merchandising and marketing programs. Tasked with integrating DBL into Ingram Micro, Brent’s organization has been responsible for aligning vendor and customer engagements with the core Ingram Micro business to leverage efficiencies and strengths on either side and to improve operating income of the business unit.

A proven track record of delivering strategic sales and promotional programs through the consumer electronics and IT circuits, McCarty brings over 18 years experience to his position.

Prior to this assignment, McCarty served as Senior Director Sales for Ingram Micro Canada where he completed a successful turnaround of the $1 Billion VAR (Value Added Reseller) business. Before joining Ingram Micro, McCarty served eight years with Dell Canada in a variety of Sales positions including Senior Field Sales and Sales Management.
