GridSearch is a technology for navigating effectively through video files, whether stored locally or streamed from a server. The faster the conventional forwarding speed the more difficult it is to spot what you want to find, and the worse the overshoot when you find it. Available as a software plug-in for Microsoft’s Media Center and video player for Microsoft Windows users, licensing GridSearch to CE device manufacturers and VOD suppliers is the main business model.
